They’re arguably decent products
You’re probably saying “hang on a second…” right now. Let me explain.
Go to your local head shop. Buy any hype pen ($60-100+). Buy some quality concentrate. Pack some and enjoy. You’re probably pretty high right now and damn that was a tasty bowl.
See, that’s the thing, they aren’t bad pens but that is what makes them so frustrating to not recommend. For the most part, you’ll be very satisfied with it at the start. As time goes on and you actually frequently use the device you’ll start to realize why they are not as good as you thought. Once you’re over the initial “hype” you’ll see the true quality of your pen.
On the other hand, hype pens work instantly out of the box. You push a button and go. Whereas more advanced devices require set up and ensuring the settings are correct. So like, kudos to hype pen manufactures on the ease of use I guess.
Eventually you’ll need to clean it. In some cases it’s not possible, sometimes cleaning the atomizer will break it, or ruin the flavor permanently. So then you go to buy a replacement atomizer, only to see they cost nearly as much as the pen was originally…
